Manufactured from galvanised steel, the pergola is designed for year-round outdoor use. Its UV-protected finish helps resist fading and damage caused by prolonged exposure to sunlight.

Adjustable louvred roof

The manually operated tilting louvres allow you to easily control the amount of sunlight, shade and shelter beneath the pergola. Simply turn the crank handle to open the roof when you want to enjoy the sunshine or close it to create a shaded, sheltered space.

The adjustable roof also provides welcome protection from unexpected rain showers, making it ideal for changeable British weather and helping you enjoy your garden for more of the year.

Concealed drainage system

A built-in drainage system helps manage rainwater discreetly and efficiently. Water falling onto the closed louvres is directed into U-shaped channels within the horizontal frame before flowing down through the hollow pergola legs and onto the ground.

The channels also help prevent trapped rainwater from dripping onto the sheltered area when the louvres are reopened, helping to keep you and your garden furniture dry.

Assembly and installation

This pergola requires assembly. We recommend that two to three people carry out the installation to ensure the components can be lifted and positioned safely. The approximate assembly time is two hours.

The pergola must be installed on a solid, level and hard-standing surface, such as a suitable concrete base. Each leg should be securely fixed to the ground through the pre-drilled holes in the base plates, using the expansion bolts supplied.

Pergolas of this type will not usually require planning permission. However, requirements can vary depending on the property, location and proposed position, so we recommend checking with your local planning authority if you are unsure.
